Hi
I recently purchased a Nissan QX 1996, it is an automatic and when I picked it up it drove well.
Recently however, it has developed a stalling problem. The first time this happened was when coming to a stop at a junction, the second was when starting to drive down the road. Both of these times, I restarted the car and was able to continue the journey without any further issues.
Last night I came home from shopping and got to my driveway and needed to do a bit of forwarding and reversing to get in properly. This is when I had a real issue. Every time I put it in gear (tried D, R, 1) it would immediately cut out. I eventually got the car in place but had to put it in gear whilst giving it a little gas.
The only other issue to note is that about a week ago I thought I felt a misfire whilst going about 50mph but as this hasn't happened since, it may have been the road surface.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
