Our 1978 Cherry Estate, AGO481S may be an old fiend to some of you avid Datsun owners, needs some bodywork.
Is the paint code on the car somewhere on a plate for example?
Is the paint available from normal suppliers, Nissan or specialists?
After looking at colour charts unsure if it is 353,357 or 513 or non of these!

I think it's 513, but I think there's also at least three different shades of 513! If you pm me you VIN I should be able to tell you wether it's 513 at least. AG0481S is the one with a vinyl roof that belong to Jon Rodwell isn't it? He repainted the car so he may know what shade it is.

Ratdat, Yes it is Jon's old car and he did have the car resprayed and have sent him an e-mail asking but no reply yet.
VIN is - VBF10 - 005365 and stated as GREEN on V5.
Regarding getting the paint, is it available and who or wher from?

Had a look and the original colour code was 513. I couldn't tell you which shade though..,. you'll probably only find that using colour chips.
You'll be able to get it mixed by most paint suppliers providing they have the data on their system. There are a few online suppliers and even a few on ebay. Best to just send them a message.
