I was thinking of asking 'er indoors to buy me another remote central locking system for my Xmas pressie but I need to know if the door handle/lock operates by rods or cable. Can anyone help me?
Got a feeling they will be rods but seeing as I am now looking at Christmas with a broken foot in plaster I am unable to get the car out to remove the door trim.

dunno yet. but i'd guess they would be rod. every other datsun i've seen so far has been rod and easy to fit the central locking kit too.
