Hi, the rear door rubber weather seal has come away from the bodywork. I am wary of using just any glue in case it reacts with the rubber or body work. Which adhesive/glue should I use to re-attach it to the car.

You could try water-based copydex. It is waterproof but can be "pulled off" when need be (ie. when the rubbers need replacing....)
