New windscreens for classics (Read 822 times)

Article in Classic Car Weekly today;

Pilkington Automotive have a new website being launched, capable of supplying 6000 different windscreens for more than 600 different vehicle manufacturers.
Orders take approx 6 weeks and they can supply bespoke items as well.

Good post - thanks - I guess a replacement would be laminated too which would have to be a really good thing.

yeah.cracked it a couple of years ago after a month of searching found pilkington in kent.

I was chatting to them recently about getting one for a 521 truck, very helpful and they have the pattern for it. Not that expensive either.

i talked to the pilkington office in amsterdam a few weeks ago and they could make me almost any model i suggested, could take a few weeks but they seem to have all dimensions for the weirdest models available

Good find Mod!! Very useful especially if the do bespoke as it will solve all glass issues.
Be interesting how they would take measurements/ angles etc
Might have to give them a try

They are making me a 1200 coupe laminated screen for racing but i do have 2 x original coupe screens for sale if required?

Guess the JDM Coupe uses the same front screen as the 510?
