Ricky showed us his varied and impressive collection recently, be they other classics or daily drivers what else do we have amongst us? Here are the rest of mine. There is a theme in that all are Japanese-badged, but they include models produced in the UK and USA: Another month, another new car – 2002 Honda Accord 2.3 Type-V 5dr by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Family wheels, used my Mrs SL during the week and for all of us at weekends/holidays. Nice spec, would probably be good fun on a trackday but until it’s relegated from family-carrying mode that’s unlikely to happen. I think a Civic will eventually replace this, not keen on more recent Nissans or even Toyotas. Another Camry joins the fleet by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Another Camry joins the fleet by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr My daily driver, bought last year for £635 with full MoT, low mileage (80-odd thousand at the time) and one owner from new. I love how these drive, the 2.2 is plenty quick enough yet they’re massive inside. I have another estate for spares which used to be my daily, newer but much higher mileage and it wasn’t worth keeping on the road. One of the most important features is the twin rear wipers, just like a 280C estate! 1991 Toyota Camry V6 GX - clean for once by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr My occasional car, bought cheap as neither me nor the previous owner wanted to see it scrapped. Have managed to get it through a couple of MoT’s since and the V6/auto combination makes it a smooth and quick drive. Even used it on a trackday back in August! Got another one coming up next April, I suspect it won’t then go back on the road... 1992 Toyota Camry 2.2GL Project Car (Pt 1) by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Not really sure what the purpose of this is. I bought it with accident damage, used it like that for a while until the need for an MoT and VIC took it off the road. I started doing the work, using panels from the estate spares car, but progress stopped when I bought the V6. It was another one owner from new car and has only 57k on the clock, I’m resisting using it for spares at the moment but I can’t see when it’ll go back on the road in the near future. Maybe when the V6’s days are over? This generation Camry offers me all the car I need. Parts can be tricky, hence a spares car, but they have an incredibly solid feel to them. I did have a later ’97 2.2 Sport but it didn’t really do anything any different so I sold it on. It’ll be a sad day when I have to move on from them. So, what else have you got?

That Thunderbird is very very smart, magnificent indeed, but a proper tease 30psi......... bet it doesnt fit into one of the garages behind it in the pic. My other car - doesnt warrant a pic - a modern Hyundai i30 CRDi auto. A "son in law" car (ie I had hoped for better) but it does the job, does > 40mpg all day long, brilliant in snow & ice when shod shortly with its winter treads. When we move, hopefully then I shall have space to indulge in more metal. Meanwhile my youngest (can I count him in as it was he that pursuaded me to get the Datsun?) has a Viva HC that always needs a little work, as well as an early V40 daily driver that he bought over a year ago for ......£50. I've just bought this 1997 Alfa 155 in the last couple of weeks, I've wanted one for years but never took the plunge and when this came up out of the blue I decided to go for it. It's replaced my Starlet as my daily and that has gone on to a friend of mine so I can still keep an eye on it! Aside from the B10, B11 and 710 I also have this 1967 Triumph 1300 which I've owned for nearly 19 years. It was the first car I ever bought and it's a keeper.

Other than the 2 Datsuns and a 5 year old Multijet Fiat Panda, I've also got these: My daily driver: 1991 Toyota Carina, its got low miles and drives beautifully. I've had this for over 10 years and I still get a kick out of driving it. Currently in hibernation, looking forward to using it in the summer. Another Toyota, this time, a mk1 '74 Carina. Its another project car.
