took the pair of tights as an alternator belt off, found one in my old mans collection that would fit, found the actual alternator was only held on by the bolt that holds it to the block, nothing underneath that its meant to be held on by haha, I used a tree branch complete with leaves to hold a Mitsubishi Colt alternator away from the block once when the bracket didn't fit! That was the 120a in my avatar photo on the way back from Darren Rungasamy in 2003? Made a bracket and got to Santander in Spain like it

got the sparks and some lubricant today, ordered both the boot joints to replace on each side, fitted the new bolts for the alternator and put on the belt my old man found in the garage, really loose but just about fits so order one of them soon too, will do for the mean time. checked brake pads and they're both fine, discovered the brake hose is sat on the drive shaft, previous owner of this car is honestly so stupid haha... sump is going to need replacing but it doesnt leak badly, only a tad around the bolt, will replace the sump bolt when i do the service soon but cant source a new sump, does anyone know where i could source one for an E13?! Why not ring him and ask about the sump on the second engine? Or buy the whole car and make the Cherry back to normal? Cherry

as my radiator has a leak on one of the hoses and is massively bodged on im going to find a lightweight micra, primera or a civic radiator, my mate who has a glanza said he uses a civic rad because it cools it alot more and quicker than any others for his engine so im going to see if mine would do the same

I was going to go for the 1.3 Micra engine and gearbox and whole front running gear as you can buy a 2000 Micra for £50 and they have a 1.3DOHC which is reliable 75BHP and as for wiring, I can make the ecu run without an immobiliser and can provide the info to do this, and as Mini people use these, the loom wiring is heavily documented. They look nice as well with a red painted rocker cover.
I have a number of radiators free to collector if you are near Canterbury?
