Bought this beast for £100 today, K11 Micra 2000, CG10DE (1L) Engine, 64k miles, minimal rust, engine is sweet as even though its been ragged, hopefully will drop straight in, done some measurements and looks like it should go in and the driveshafts from the sunny go straight in.

60bhp? vs 60bhp nicer running more fuel efficient probably same torque? I assume you have the E13 in there at the moment? Wasn't interested in an Almera etc?

Wasn't interested in an Almera etc? 54hp, about the same, i have the exact same engine in my good micra so i know the engine fairly well, alot better than the E13 haha. i honestly didnt want a CG10 but as my mate whos father has just died, jobless and needs as much help as possible to get his van he got given on the road i thought i may aswell help him out seeing as i was looking for a good engine too. i always knew i was going to get the cheapest, closest nissan to me haha, the last almera that was for sale near me was a rotten GTI with SR20DE that went for around £500 few months ago before i had the sunny so no chance of having that really this has power steering too so may be able to fit that into the sunny someway or another. first little bump in the engine part is the driveshafts from the E13 wont fit into the CG10 box, going to fiddle about with the hub end and see if the splines can fit onto the driveshafts of the micras box so i dont have to do a micra hub conversion because that means ill have 4x100 and will have to mess about with the suspension which i dont really want to do, also changing the back which i dont want to do.

also having a CG10 put in means that i can build a CG13 which is the 1.3 version using the same mounts, can fit it to the CG10 box for acceleration and do a load of mods to make it quick, maybe even throttle bodies or something, not really interested in making this go fast as its a rare car, would rather the engine look good dont know if people will be able to see this but i put all my photos on my facebook page... www.facebook.com/huzzbum/media_set?set=a.10205606420333520.1073741836.1043690936&type=3

All factory injection and spark? or carbs? my brothers good with wiring so he'll be the man to do it all if needs be, im literally dropping it all in factory, no point tuning the CG10 because it gets about the same power as a CG13 does stock, hense why i want to get a CG13 and tune that because gets the most power out of a CG

lots of photo updates on the facebook photo dump, found expanding foam and filler in the arches where bolts to the sills, the rear leaf springs rub on the chassis where the springs are upside down and not with lowering blocks or anything, ordering some escort blocks when i can, but she is 3 holes less! probably the worlds patchiest nissan but its going to be solid i hope woke up this morning and dad had taken the donors engine out for me, started yesterday and just plodded along and kept himself busy while i was at work, hes too nice to me! www.facebook.com/huzzbum/media_set?set=a.10205606420333520.1073741836.1043690936&type=3

weldings all done, just need to stone chip and underseal, rebuild the bottom of the passenger side like drivers (bottom section cut off and micra bottom section welded in place), sound proof, carpet and k10 seats put in, then off the ramp and steam wash the bay and get it ready for the engine to go in. buying a 1.3 5 door micra soon and putting the 1.0 i already have in the micra shell and 1.3 in the sunny, getting there. photos if you're interested in the facebook album!

sunnys home, went and got a 1.3 for it today and swapped the 1.0 for it, going to start cleaning and painting the engine now the one that is actually going in is here.
still finding puddles in the footwells so going to see if the seals from the micra work, might stop the leak
