After a lot of annoyance and being messed about for half a week finally went and picked up my 1984 Sunny van! Done some research and Wiki told me there was only 3 made in the u.k? if this is true, epic. If not, dont think theres many left anyway. This Van however had been previously modified and raffled on Facebook, the winner of the raffle didnt like it and has sold it on, to me. Few imperfections but its a project at the moment until my Micra runs out of mot, hopefully ready for Japfest. Need new seats, few tiny spots of rust welded up, different steering wheel (original or wooden), new mirrors (gonna try retrofit some chrome round ones, bullet ones, or maybe bolt some into the wing), all the stickers off, etc. I have been a member of the Micra forum, got an idea of Nissans and mechanics, always grown up around them and had one near me so hopefully this project will teach me alot like my K11 did!

gave her a quick hose down today, getting up closer the only real bad points in the paint is the boot, slight lacquer fade on the boot and a tiny drip below, pretty pleased with that, still cant believe how stupid the previous owner is to stick massive stickers on the windscreen and boot -.- covered them in tar remover but done basically nothing so gonna try something else tomorrow, started raining so gave up. chuffed with her still even if it is a massive project. best thing ive found so far is the altenator belt is a shoe lace... discovered why the passenger side has a leak too, the drainage channel on the roof sends it down into the door and a seal must be gone in the door somewhere because it just goes inside, only other leak i could find was one of the windows in the back has a tiny leak but thats just a few drops if its hosed on

There is one near me, same colour driving around as it has been for at least 10 years. The best way to clean an engine bay is to just paint on gunk and then wash all off, failing that cheap washing powder in a bucket of very hot water and an old dustpan brush, very effective.
I can let you know when I find another B11 in a garden or field around here as I will be buying it for a few stupid parts and then you are welcome to the seats and wheel and you could have the carpet out of it as well.

Careful with the heat gun on the windows as the laminate will go white so as Al says, a stanley blade and then isopropyl alcohol from a chemist will get all the sticky off or petrol.

Awesome. Stanley blade should rid you of the stickers. how low is it now? coilovers are maxed out on the front haha, on the back leaf spring and flipped axle, really low and apparently really bouncy, havent driven it properly yet haha, the wishbones are angled and the cv boot joints have split so thats on the fix list

took the pair of tights as an alternator belt off, found one in my old mans collection that would fit, found the actual alternator was only held on by the bolt that holds it to the block, nothing underneath that its meant to be held on by haha, my mates working on finding a bolt that would fit from his work. found a brake pad wedged behind the washer tank, skateboard wheels and window cleaner in the back behind the lights, lots of secrets its beholding! got given an exhaust and k10 seats and the k10 seat rails are a tad too thin, one of the windows in the back wasnt in the seal properly so popped it back in, put it up on stands and made sure it actually went into gear how it should, does it fine! bought oil and filter but being poor means couldnt get the rest of the service kit so doing so after paid, got a massive ebay list of parts too, like a miracle the drivers side mirror has popped up which is good! slowly and surely getting there. also took a look underneath, found inner and outer sills and floorpan on each side needs some holes welded up, might cost alot which i hope it doesnt Attachments:
