So to anyone who has a 610 please read carefully. The rear bumpers come in different sizes. I was lucky enough to get the last one of Will otherwise I would of been in trouble. The sizes are different from either side bolts My original My second hand replacement

When I first owned the car the choke never worked. After having the engine replaced my friend still couldn't get it to work. Basically when ever you pulled the cable which was broken the car would cut out. Spoke with will who gave me some advise and spot on it was. The bar linkage was the wrong way round so the flap would shut but not increase the idle. Sorted that out with a new cable and now spot on Whilst I was in the car I whipped in a new stereo however I think I will be whipping it out again to put in an Alpine and some lovely 6x9's in the rear shelf

Time for some new number plates. My front plate an original rivet plate has unipart on it. I was wondering if it would be legal to have the black plates with silver writing or am I asking for mr plod to pull me over . I think these type of plates are pre 1973

I think these type of plates are pre 1973 Yes, you're right. Motor Vehicle Construction and Use Regulations. Also an MOT failure.
And on this note of number plates.... failing to display front/rear number plate (was) £30 non-endorsable fixed penalty. Getting your plates read by GATSO camera £80? endorsable fixed penalty and penalty points. Moral: If you think you are going to accrue points and shell out loadsa money.... whip the plates off (shouldn't be telling you this) Leigh (Area rep / Ex-Plod).

Yea I thought it was pre 73. I was asking advice not saying I've got them on so there's nothing to whip off. You sound like my Dad ( shouldn't be telling you this) lol. I'm looking at the aluminium riveted ones as the pressed ones don't look right.

White and yellow aluminium with plastic number and letters would be correct.
