It's mine.
It runs fairly good for a engine that had been at the scrappers for some years. There is some oil in the turbo, but we think that strange beep at the end is a bit weird..

I swapped it in so the electrics can be sorted out. The plan was always to get the engine out and give it a full service and new gaskets. But who can resist trying if you are at this stage?

Now it's time for a new clutch, new turboseals, new cambelt and waterpump. I hope that datman can help me with some turbo gaskets and cambelt kit.. As you have the engine out, I would swap the turbo to a T25 unit. Its only a matter of time before you used to the power delivered by the T2 and will want more...

haha, was thinking about that, but I know it won't be a huge powerhouse, so I'm keeping the T20.

So I replaced the timingbelt, fitted a new turbo and put the engine back in the car. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XtpOI2DrH4&feature=youtu.beIt runs, sort of... I reckon the timing is all messed up, but I can't check before I know the specifications. Let's hope that I didn't screw up with the timing belt and need to re-do it... But it's driving on ti's own after 4 years!

it won't be a tuned up engine.. Only a open filter and 2,5'' exhaust... No big boost, bov or other tuning bits.. It have to be a reliable engine..
