So it's MOT'd, drives not great, but good enough to go the the RR show. But now it's trowing up engine coolant, so today the mission is to replace some gaskets and put a single spark head on. Got nearly 2 weeks to get it fixed and breaked in before the UK trips starts.

I had running issues when I did my conversion. My issues were
Loose plug on mass meter Running issues like your first video because the car was low in fuel so once more fuel was put in she ran perfect. Fuel pump needed adjusting
Hope that helps

compression on all 4 cylinders is 11 bar, so we decided not to change the gasket. I got another radiator cap and overflow tank. Hoping that that will do the trick. Working on a surge tank aswell. Still using the carb fuel tank, so I can only use the top 30 liters fuel in the tank before cutting out after accelerating or cornering. Keeping busy just before the UK trip.

spark plug colors are all good, compression is good so I don't think it's damaged. It cuts off very viciously, so it's not that it's still boosting with to little fuelpressure, because it just stops untill the fuelpressure is back..
I haven't had the confirmation that an S12 or S13 tank would fit and it would be money trown away if I bought one and it doesn't fit.

Dennis, install a swirl pot to prevent the fuel pump from running dry. Dont cost a lot and will save you from killing the engine because it doesnt get fuel.

I've got S12 tanks in both my 910's. You will need to accept that the fuel pump cover in the boot is in the wrong location. You also need to use a few inches of the S12 filler tube and slide the 910 one over the top of it as the diameter is larger than it needs to be for the tank.

So, blowing of dust from this topic! As some of you already have seen on the RR gathering, I installed a swirl pot so the engine doesn't run dry when the tank is half empty. Apart from that I have done much with the car in all those months, only driving it and tweaking it a bit. I disconnected the rear swaybar for example. At high speed and shape turns, the car was very nervous and tailhappy. Usually tha's a good thing, but when it becomes unpredicteble, the fun stops. Also had traction problems in when cornering. By softening the rear end, it became more stable in highspeed corners and got a bit more traction in the corners! I also lowered the front another 25mm. I also had issues with cold start and idle. On the RR gathering Ricky saw that the ignitioncoil, dizzy and airflow meter were very mounted very close to eachother. That could be disturbing the signal from the AFM. So I gave everything a new spot in the engine bay, no not the distributor , but that didn't make any diffrence.. There is a trackday at Zandvoort circuit on the 25th and that will be its first real trackday. I hope it will finish at least one 15 minute heat! Loads of words, no pictures, but it's updated again.

Hi Dennismo,
Nice project! What year is it & also what 200sx coil overs did you use? S13? S14? Did they fit straight up or did you have to do any fabrication?

My car is an '81 Bluebird.
I used S13 coilovers. At the rear straight fit, only the 910 topmounts had to be placed on the s13 coilovers. At the front, you need to redrill the struttowers to work with the S13 camberplates. You also need to replace the 910 struts with the hubs and brakes from a s13. You can put the S13 hubs on the 910 lower arm.
