I take it he got upgraded ignition then away from the points as I can see the coil as its normally mounted on the inner wing

The dumped the L series and swapped in a CA18DET IIRC!

I think I'm done with engine mods. I'm gonna keep my engine standard but before it goes in I'm gonna have it rebuilt. Pulled out DJT to give her some air as the weather was good. I'm loving Datsuns in this colour.

I went to see Danny's 810 when he was selling it about 5 years ago. It had the DET in it. I can't recall what it was up for but I ended up buying the Thunderbird instead. I can't recall where the 810 ended up?

pretty sure it ended up in Ireland. somewhere around £4000? it was featured in a Retro Cars magazine issue 4 2008

I'll see if i have some spare paint as the engine bay and give it a blow over see how it looks. Also if youve got the magazine handy could you post up some pictures of the sss. Good to see how she looked.

those Lotus alloys are 14inch. personally i think they let the car down and are about the only thing i'd change. i think they're too skinny for the car. now some Japanese 8x15s on the other hand....
