Great news, but needs twin tail and brake lights! Even I managed to make that modification.

i like the car wheels are Wills. drove this home the other day and went pretty well. quite surprized at how high geared it is. was good. needs a few bits sorting. some bushes, damper or two. but pretty good overall. heater is a bit random. it blow hot air when engine is first warmed up. but then mostly blows cold. there was issues with crud in a lot of the engines waterways but Will and I blasted it all through and replaced some parts, including a new thermostat. temp gauge sits right in the middle, so bit unsure what to check next? i blasted water throgh the heater matrix both ways and that is nice and clear. maybe it will cure itself.... i'll sort some pics out soon.

Looks good Al, obviously your planning to lower it and nice pint job, wheels look good. Now I see why you were holding onto them rather than selling them.

engine bay. nothing much exciting. apart from the bit of wood to secure the battery ;D i removed the headlining as was getting annoyed with it sat on my head... here it is all baggy. theres a large piece of cardboard. real cardboard too. wasn't expecting that and like Leigh said, there was foam on that and then the vinyl lining. the foam had broken up and the cardboard and vinyl had come apart. i peeled it back. hovered the foam and cleaned it all up then, used spray glue and have stuck it back down. with no foam. it's gone on ok i think. i'll post some pics when it's back in the car. oh. while i was getting the headlining out, i had to sit in the back. not much room back there and i'm only 5'9" but i did find a cool couple of compartments in the side panels. ;D these old Nissans never fail to make me smile.

Another rat Datsun? 80mm on those wheels is going to require serious negative camber upfront and flaring of wheel arches ESP rear ones.. Should be ace when done !
