Great that it seems to have a chance of being saved. As I’ve said these are something of a personal favourite, I remember mine very fondly. Good luck with it!

Okay.... I have done a re-trim of the interior roof lining and pillars and will get some photos up. Rather pleased with the result . Leigh (Area rep)

started working on this, we got it running , removed rebuilt and reattached the clutch master cylinder and it tries to drive but front brakes were jammed on so we have been overhauling the front brakes. Nothing happens when you press the pedal either so a brake master cyl rebuild may be next on the cards. Work continues this week.

sat in this for the first time today... i really, really like the interior, plush brown corduroy and lots of typical datsun touches i have got to sort out the headlining as thats sagging rather badly, hopefully Leigh will show me how to fix that still no more pics yet...

We stripped drained and refilled the petrol tank today, and stripped the rear brakes as neither the handbrake or footbrake work. Fitted a new cylinder and new set of brake shoes and skimmed one drum. Unseized pivots in the drums on the workbench. Welding tomorrow hopefully, needs end of one sill and also a bit of rear chassis rail behind the rear wheels.
